Hungarian doll from Mezokovesd made in 1960s

This is an example of a vintage hand-made doll from the Mezokovesd district in the Northern part of Hungary, made in the early 1960s.
Matyo is the name given to Magyars (Hungarian people) who are locals of the Mezokovesd district. Szentistvan is one of their villages.
This doll wears Mezokovesd costume with a Matyo style of hand emboidered apron. What makes this vintage doll special is also the fact the Matyo embroidery in more recent years has become acknowledged under the provisions of the UNESCO's Convention for the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage (in force since 2006).
The doll sits on a wooden chair. In the sitting position doll height is 32 cm.
